Job summary

Cygnet Hospital Wolverhampton is a state-of-the-art PICU and Acute hospital for men in the West Midlands. The Bank Kitchen Assistant helps provide balanced meals and maintains a safe, clean kitchen environment as part of a dedicated team.

You'll have flexible shifts across Cygnet Hospital Wolverhampton with support from expert supervision, free meals on shift, a pension scheme and employee discounts. DBS check will be required for successful candidates.

Qualifications

• Passionate about catering, preferably with experience within a care setting.
• Able to work as part of a team and take direction.
• Commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Assist the team in providing balanced, appetising meals.
• Perform basic food preparation, cooking tasks & other kitchen duties.
• Wash utensils, dishes & store appropriately.
• Sort, store & distribute ingredients, check deliveries and assist with stock ordering.
• Maintain personal hygiene and ensure the kitchen is clean & hygienic.
• Handle, maintain & store kitchen equipment in accordance with COSHH procedures.
• Use chemicals in line with COSHH regulations.
