Advinia Healthcare at Annan Court Care Home is seeking a Bank Chef to join our kitchen team, crafting meals for Residents, Staff and Visitors with attention to dietary needs and high standards.

You will manage storage, plan and cook foods, and serve in a professional manner while adhering to hygiene and HACCP procedures. The role offers flexible shifts in a calm, social kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• GCSE English or equivalent.
• City & Guilds 706/1 and 2 (or equivalent) Basic Food Preparation.
• Basic Food Hygiene certification.
• Experience delivering high quality meals.
• Knowledge of menu planning and costing.
• Experience in delivery service.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining good food storage procedures and stock rotation.
• Preparing, planning and cooking meals to a high standard with dietary needs.
• Serving Residents, Staff and Visitors professionally.
• Preparing foods for conferences and banquets.
• Participating in food costing through cost control.
• Adhering to Safer Food Better Business and HACCP records.
• Maintaining HACCP paperwork and temperatures.
• Taking shift responsibility for catering operations.
