Job summary

Advinia is seeking a Bank Chef at Parklands Court Care Home in the United Kingdom to join a friendly catering team with flexible shifts that fit your lifestyle. You will prepare daily meals for Residents, Staff and Visitors, maintain food safety and paperwork, and contribute to conferences and banquets when required.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering quality food to a high standard.
• Knowledge of menu planning and costing.
• Experience in delivery service.
• Understanding of food safety and HACCP where applicable.
• Basic food hygiene understanding.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining good food storage procedures and stock rotation.
• Preparing, planning and cooking meals to a high standard with dietary considerations.
• Serving Residents, Staff and Visitors professionally.
• Preparing foods for conferences and banquets.
• Participating in food costings through cost control.
• Adhering to Safer Food Better Business standards.
• Adhering to Food Hygiene Regulations and safety procedures.
• Taking full shift responsibility for the catering operation.
• Filling HACCP paperwork (fridge temps, cooking logs, cleaning schedules).
