Job summary

St Catherine's Hospice is seeking a Bank Senior Catering Assistant to support our kitchen team in preparing and serving patient meals and assisting with events. The role offers flexible ad-hoc hours across early to late shifts, with working times from 7:30am to 7pm.

You will join a supportive team of staff and volunteers, helping maintain high hygiene standards and contributing to the delivery of compassionate care within the hospice setting.

Qualifications

• Friendly, dedicated individual with enthusiasm, organisation and high standards; enjoys working as part of a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Preparing patient meal trays and serving beverages
• Preparing salads, fruits and vegetables
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety in the kitchen
• Assisting with catering for a variety of Hospice events
• Working with our friendly kitchen team made up of staff and volunteers
