Job summary

The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting Band 5 A&E nurses to join our temporary staffing bank. You will be able to choose a flexible pattern of days and nights in our Emergency Departments as part of a committed multidisciplinary team.

You must be a qualified nurse with registration and have a certificate in Critical Care; 6 months post-qualification experience in an acute setting is preferable. We offer regular long shifts paid at 11.5 hours and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified nurse with registration and A&E experience preferred.
• Evidence of critical care certificate required.
• 6 months post-qualification experience preferable in acute settings.

Responsibilities

• Assess care needs and develop, implement and evaluate programmes of care with the multidisciplinary team and patients’ families.
• Act as named nurse under supervision of a senior team leader.
• Support department during major incidents as required.
