Job summary

Arden University is seeking Associate Lecturers to support delivery of courses on a flexible, as-needed basis. Roles cover blended and distance learning environments, with teaching across semesters or task-based work to suit schedules.

You must hold a recognised teaching qualification and have experience in the UK higher education sector, with active involvement in student-centred teaching and assessment.

Qualifications

• You must hold a recognised teaching qualification, and have experience delivering teaching and assessment in UK higher education.
• Experience delivering student-centred teaching and, for DL roles, distance learning experience.
• Fellowship of Advance HE (or willingness to work toward it).

Responsibilities

• Deliver teaching in blended learning (BL) sessions and online DL formats.
• Lead engaging online sessions via Zoom and facilitate discussions.
• Mark assignments, participate in standardisation, and meet deadlines.
• Provide high-quality supervision for student projects and dissertations.
• Develop or revise engaging lecture and learning content with copyright compliance.
• Participate in meetings, peer reviews and staff development.
