Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to deliver ACP-led sessions across Bungay and surrounding community settings. You will assess and manage urgent patient demand, perform routine evaluations and contribute to safe prescribing as part of established clinical teams.

The role supports flexible sessional work with weekday, evening or weekend availability, ideal for autonomous clinicians with DBS in place and current prescribing rights.

Qualifications

• Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification (Level 7).
• Clinical background in Nursing, Paramedic Science, or similar.
• Independent Prescribing (V300) desirable.
• Experience in GP, urgent care or community health services.
• Ability to work independently in varied clinical environments.
• Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ACP-led sessions within community and primary care settings.
• Managing acute, undifferentiated and minor illness presentations.
• Supporting urgent patient demand through telephone or face-to-face triage.
• Prescribing safely within scope of competence.
• Managing clinical actions including results, medication reviews and follow-up tasks.
• Recording accurate and clear digital documentation.
