Job summary

Locum Ready is recruiting an Advanced Clinical Practitioner for flexible, sessional work across primary care and regional care centre services in Wadebridge. The role requires autonomous assessments, managing diverse clinical presentations and supporting efficient patient flow within local health services.

You will work in structured clinical environments with clear pathways, ensuring consistent support for advanced-level practice and safe patient care in primary care settings.

Qualifications

• Level 7 Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification is required.
• Background in Nursing, Paramedic Science, AHP or similar.
• Independent Prescribing desirable.

Responsibilities

• Run independent ACP-led clinics across care centre and GP service settings.
• Assess acute, undifferentiated and routine presentations.
• Provide telephone and on-site triage during periods of high demand.
• Prescribe and initiate treatment where qualified.
• Complete routine clinical actions including results, reviews and referrals.
• Document accurately in digital clinical systems.
