Job summary

Locum Ready is recruiting Locum Advanced Clinical Practitioners to work across Ilfracombe and surrounding primary care settings. The role offers flexible sessional work with session times arranged to suit your schedule, including urgent access clinics, triage-based work, or routine appointments.

As an ACP, you will deliver autonomous assessments, manage acute presentations and support routine primary care activity, with independence in clinics and safe prescribing within your scope.

Qualifications

• Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification (Level 7) is required.
• Background in Nursing, Paramedic Science, Physiotherapy or similar.
• Independent Prescribing qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivering independent ACP-led clinics across local primary care settings
• Assessing and managing undifferentiated presentations
• Providing telephone or face-to-face triage
• Prescribing safely within your scope of practice
• Supporting clinical workflows such as results and follow-up actions
• Documenting accurately within service-specific clinical systems
