Job summary

Randstad Student & Worker Support is seeking a part-time Specialist Notetaker to provide accurate notes for University lectures and seminars in Ormskirk, Lancashire. The role starts September 2026 for the new academic year, with flexible hours and holiday pay pro rata.

You will work in partnership with Randstad to support students living with disabilities, producing accessible notes and maintaining professional standards within the institution's policies.

Qualifications

• Typing speed and accuracy for note-taking in lectures and seminars.
• Excellent spelling and grammar to produce legible notes.
• Punctuality and reliability for schedule adherence.
• Strong time management to handle deadlines during classes.
• Good organisational skills to structure notes for accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate and legible notes for lectures, seminars/tutorials and group tasks.
• Review notes after lectures to ensure accessibility and proper format for students.
• Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality with students.
• Act in learners' best interests while following institutional policies.
