Job summary

Sainsbury's Limited in Chichester is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver for a part-time fixed-term contract. You will deliver groceries directly to customers’ doors in a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van, ensuring orders are in good condition and delivered on time.

You must be 18+ with a full UK driving licence (no more than 6 points) and have the right to work in the UK. Shifts include Sundays, Fridays and Saturdays, with flexible availability and online driving checks as part of the process.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 and hold a full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points
• Right to Work in the UK must be confirmed

Responsibilities

• Be the face of Sainsbury’s at every doorstep you deliver to, providing a friendly and reliable service
• Drive a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van to deliver groceries on time and in good condition
• Complete vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness, cleanliness and order integrity
• Follow planned routes and drive safely in different locations and conditions
• Assist with in-store tasks when not out delivering
• Communicate with customers about delays or changes to orders
