Job summary

Rikama Education is recruiting for dedicated SEN Tutors to deliver structured 1:1 tuition in Gravesend, often in the family home or virtually. You will support CYP with EHCPs and complex needs, planning and adapting lessons to meet individual goals while reporting progress to parents and using Kent County Council requirements as your guide.

The role offers flexible hours (10–20 per week), competitive hourly pay, long‑term placements, and dedicated consultant support for SEN provision across Kent.

Qualifications

• QTS / QTLS strongly preferred, or substantial SEN tutoring experience.
• Experience delivering 1:1 tuition or equivalent provision.
• Strong behaviour management and differentiation skills.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structured 1:1 SEN tuition in Gravesend, typically home-based.
• Plan and adapt lessons to meet individual learning goals.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and parents.
• Provide progress reports in line with Kent County Council requirements.
