Salutem Care & Education in Birmingham is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to provide person-centred support to adults in our residential services. You will promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing in line with care plans, risk assessments, and PBS strategies.
As part of a caring team, you’ll assist with daily tasks, participate in activities, monitor health, support budgeting, and collaborate with families and professionals.
The Blue Cedars family are recruiting! Blue Cedars is a day centre supporting adults with a wide variety of learning disabilities, multiple physical disabilities, autism, and mild mental health needs within the Birmingham area. We support individuals to live the life they love and achieve all of their goals! The individuals we support love going out for the day, visiting the sights near by and taking a stroll round the local parks. We love shopping and spending time at the coffee shops talking to friends and family. We love playing games at Blue Cedars and getting messy with arts and crafts. We love listening to music, dancing, and throwing a party when an occasion arises!

Each day will be different, and the main focus of your role is to provide daily support to adults in our residential services. It’s definitely not a normal 9-5, you can work days, nights, and flexible shifts too. Talking of ‘dream’ jobs, some of our shifts are sleep-ins!
