Job summary

Aspire People in Kettering is seeking dedicated Job Coaches to support our partner College for SEN pupils aged 18+. We offer full-time, part-time and ad hoc cover opportunities with salaries of £120–£135 per day, depending on role and experience.

As a Job Coach you will help students develop employability and workplace skills, build confidence and independence, support work experience activities, and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and employers.

Qualifications

• Experience with young people with SEND or barriers to employment.
• Patient and excellent communicator.
• Reliable, adaptable and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Support students in developing employability and workplace skills.
• Provide encouragement and practical support in learning environments.
• Help students build confidence, independence and communication.
• Support students during work experience and vocational activities.
• Develop positive relationships with students, employers and professionals.
• Encourage students to overcome barriers and achieve goals.
• Promote independence with appropriate levels of support.
• Follow individual support plans and track progress.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive and supportive environment.
• Support on 1:1 and group sessions.
