Job summary

Osborne Appointments is seeking a reliable Flexi Driver for our Bedford client. The role runs from 13:00 to 22:00, Monday to Friday, with a £15.00 per hour pay rate.

The successful candidate will operate a forklift in a busy production and warehouse environment and have opportunities for training and development. We are looking for someone with an in-date Flexi licence (refresher in the last 3 years) and recent Flexi driving experience, along with good maths and a flexible attitude to learn new

Qualifications

• In-date Flexi licence with refresher completed within the last 3 years.
• Previous Flexi Driver experience within the last year.
• Good maths skills and numerical accuracy.
• Flexible and eager to learn new skills.
• Ability to work safely in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Stock production lines and off-load manufactured goods.
• Unload raw materials.
• Load finished products.
• Move stock safely around warehouse and production areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment and daily checks.
• Support the wider warehouse team as needed.
• Carry out rework on customer orders.
• Be flexible and willing to learn new skills.

Duties of a Flexi Driver

• Stocking production lines and off-loading manufactured goods
• Unloading raw materials
• Loading finished products
• Moving stock safely around the warehouse and production areas
• Completing housekeeping duties
• Maintaining a safe working environment and completing daily checks
• Supporting the wider warehouse team when required
• Carrying out rework on customer orders
• Being flexible and willing to learn new skills

What we're looking for

• An in-date Flexi licence, with a refresher completed within the last 3 years
• Previous experience working as a Flexi Driver within the last year
• Good level of maths
• A flexible approach and willingness to learn new skills
• The ability to work safely and effectively within a busy environment
