Job summary

Grandma Wild's in Steeton, BD20 is seeking an experienced FLT Driver to join our warehouse, logistics and production support team. In a busy manufacturing environment you will move, store and control materials to keep production running smoothly.

The role requires operating Flexi/Bendi and Counterbalance forklifts, receiving deliveries, stocking, goods inwards and dispatch activities, and ensuring stock accuracy and safety standards across site.

Qualifications

• A valid Flexi/Bendi (Pivot Steer) FLT licence is essential.
• Applications from candidates with a Counterbalance licence only will not be considered.
• Previous experience within a warehouse, manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience operating forklift trucks safely within a busy working environment.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible and adaptable approach with the ability to respond to changing business demands.
• Reliable team player with a strong work ethic.
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures within a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Operating Flexi/Bendi (Pivot Steer) and Counterbalance forklift trucks safely and efficiently
• Receiving deliveries and locating stock correctly within the warehouse
• Supplying materials and stock to production areas as required
• Recording all stock movements accurately on the company system
• Maintaining stock accuracy and ensuring physical stock matches system records
• Supporting goods inwards and outbound deliveries
• Maintaining warehouse organisation, housekeeping and safety standards
• Following company quality procedures, waste management and recycling processes
• Assisting with stock checks and stock takes
• Supporting general warehouse and production-related activities as required
