About The Company

We are looking for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support Cavendish School in Liverpool with students aged 5-11 years with Autism Spectrum Condition (A.S.C) and special education needs (S.E.N).

Responsibilities
- Support the class teacher to ensure the delivery of high-quality education for all students.
- Provide relevant and appropriate support to students, individually or in groups, to enable them to access the curriculum as independently as possible.
- Assist in organizing the classroom, resources, student groupings, and displays to create a stimulating learning environment suitable for students with ASC, SCLN, and complex needs.
- Work with and manage sensory needs, implementing a sensory diet and self-regulatory strategies as advised by the professional team.
- Support learners in developing or refining their independence skills, including assisting with personal care when necessary.
