Cavendish View School provides a nurturing and stimulating education for pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (A.S.C) and special education needs (S.E.N) from ages 5 to 11 years.

About The Role
We are seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support Cavendish School in Liverpool with students aged 5-11 years with Autism Spectrum Condition (A.S.C) and special education needs (S.E.N).

Responsibilities
- Support the class teacher to ensure the delivery of high-quality education for all students
- Provide relevant and appropriate support to students, individually or in groups, to access the curriculum independently
- Assist in organising the classroom, resources, student groupings, and displays to create a stimulating learning environment suitable for students with ASC, SCLN, or complex needs
- Work with and manage sensory needs, implementing sensory diets and self-regulatory strategies as advised by the professional team
- Support learners in developing or refining their independence skills, including personal care elements if needed
