Job summary

Royal Mail Bristol Workshop is seeking a workshop operative to join our commercial vehicle team. The role covers tyre maintenance, basic repairs, vehicle transport to customer locations, general maintenance tasks, minor body work, and FLT loading; full training provided.

You'll hold a UK driving licence with 7.5 tonne entitlement; HGV/trailer experience is a plus. The position is permanent, full-time with 39.5 hours a week and a rotating shift pattern, including some Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence with 7.5 tonne entitlement. An HGV licence and trailer towing experience would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Tyre maintenance (re-grooving, fitting, inflation, balancing & puncture repairs).
• Basic repairs such as replacement of light bulbs, mirrors, doors and wiper blades.
