Perfect Placement UK Ltd. is recruiting on behalf of a leading vehicle rental fleet company for a Vehicle Technician / LCV Vehicle Technician in Snodland, Kent. The role focuses on fleet maintenance and electric vehicle repair within a well‑established organisation.

Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ or City & Guilds qualification in Motor Vehicle Engineering.
• Proven workshop experience as a Vehicle Technician or commercial vehicle mechanic.
• Strong diagnostic skills and ability to work efficiently within a team.
• Pride in delivering high-quality work while adhering to compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct maintenance, servicing, and warranty repairs on a fleet of approximately 900 vehicles (cars and LCVs).
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults using state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment.
• Carry out repairs, part replacements, and preventative maintenance to meet manufacturer standards.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT testing, ensuring safety and roadworthiness.
• Ensure vehicles are returned to customers promptly with high satisfaction.
• Prioritise workload effectively within standard job times and company policies.
