Octane Recruitment Limited seeks an experienced Vehicle Technician in Barking to service, repair and maintain a fleet of cars and vans. The ideal candidate will have Level 2 with 3+ years’ experience or Level 3 with strong diagnostic skills, and the right to work in the UK.

Overtime is paid and there is a clear progression path through IMI-accredited training. The role requires 42.5 hours per week on day shifts, with overtime available.

Qualifications

• Level 2 qualification with 3+ years as Technician or Mechanic.
• Fully qualified to Level 3.
• Strong servicing, maintenance and mechanical repair experience.
• Good vehicle diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsabilités

• Service, maintain and repair a varied fleet of cars and vans.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical vehicle faults.
• Inspect vehicles and identify required repairs.
• Complete mechanical repairs safely and efficiently.
• Ensure vehicles remain safe, roadworthy and legally compliant.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship across all repairs.
• Work closely with the workshop team to maximise fleet availability.
