Qualifications

  • Experience in servicing and maintaining a diverse fleet of vehicles.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic faults.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain fleet vehicles and trailers through regular service and inspection.
  • Conduct fault diagnosis and repair on various vehicle systems.

Job description

Following years of accelerated growth Culina Group is now a £2.2billion+ turnover business, employing over 22,000 staff, with a fleet of more than 5,000 vehicles. Culina Group operates from over 100+ depots across the UK and Ireland, serving more than 1,000 clients over its framework of chilled, ambient, contract packaging solutions and fresh and baked goods.

We are now recruiting for a Fleet Technician to join our Team.

Shift:4ON 4OFF Days.

Salary:£19 per hour - £20 per hour.

Job Description
  • You are required to maintain ethical standards in accordance with Culina Asset Management’s AG Policies and the Company's Compliance Guidelines and Policies including Anti-Bribery and all relevant competition law.
  • Service, inspection, maintenance and repair of diverse fleet of vehicles and trailers
  • Electrical, electronic, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosis, repair and installation
  • Overhaul electrical equipment and components
  • Setting and operating of machine tools and equipment
  • Welding and metal working
  • Department of Transport (MOT) testing preparation
  • Parts ordering and stores management
  • Support team members including Apprentice Technicians as required
  • Accurately record time and detail of completed jobs
  • Carry out inspection and repair of workshop equipment as directed
  • Other work within normal grade/job skills as required
  • Ad-hoc duties as required
  • Health and safety at work and workshop cleanliness is of paramount importance
Qualifications
  • HGV L3 in vehicle maintenance; L2 and time served will be considered.
  • Cat C+E licence highly desirable.
  • Ability to work quickly and effectively
  • Must be hardworking and self-motivated and a productive Technician
  • Ability to tackle all aspects of repair and servicing
