Fleet Team Leader – Vehicle Allocations & Logistics

Are you a highly organised, detail-driven professional with a passion for fleet management? We’re looking for a Fleet Team Leader to join our dynamic team and take ownership of our vehicle allocations and logistics operations across leased, owned, and short-term rental vehicles (cars and vans).

Key Responsibilities

  • Vehicle Allocation & Tracking: Ensure accurate assignment of vehicles to drivers, cost centres, and locations. Maintain up-to-date records for all vehicle movements including new starters, leavers, repairs, and re-allocations.
  • Inbound & Outbound Logistics: Manage the intake and return of all vehicles, ensuring documentation, registration, and cost centre updates are completed.
  • Lease Returns: Oversee timely and compliant return of lease vehicles, including inspections, MOTs, and damage assessments.
  • Fuel Card Management: Order, assign, and monitor fuel cards with correct spend limits and usage categories.
  • Insurance & Compliance: Liaise with insurance teams on claims, update internal systems (Jaama, JDE), and ensure all vehicles are compliant with MOT, RFL, MID, and SORN requirements.
  • Driver Support: Assist with breakdowns, vehicle queries, and short-term hire needs.
  • Third-Party Coordination: Work with suppliers for vehicle livery, kit-outs, and rentals, ensuring POs are raised and costs approved.
  • Fines & Legal: Manage speeding/parking fines, provide driver details to authorities, and support with licence checks and risk notifications.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in fleet management, vehicle logistics, or transport coordination
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle compliance, insurance processes, and fleet systems (e.g., Jaama, JDE)
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
  • Comfortable working with data, reports, and compliance documentation
