The role

In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the Landside Bussing or Airfield Coaching vehicles are serviceable, fit for the daily work schedule, and presented to MAG's high standards of cleanliness. You will carry out daily inspections, report any defects or faults, and ensure all vehicles are ready for full operations by checking and filling fuel, oil, and water levels appropriately. You will carry out minor repairs, deliver and collect vehicles requiring further repairs or servicing to Motor Transport or third parties, and recover spare vehicles to assist with breakdowns or accidents. Additionally, you will provide effective support to the Landside Bussing or Airfield Coaching colleagues, represent the department when dealing with third-party suppliers, and contribute to the prevention of harm and accidents by following all health and safety procedures.

What will make me successful in the role?

We are looking for someone with experience in vehicle maintenance. A PCV license is desirable. You should also have an understanding of Health and Safety requirements, experience in carrying out accident repair evaluations, and producing written reports.
