Fleet Sales Account Manager – Competitive Salary + Excellent Benefits – Liverpool or Manchester

Do you have experience in fleet or commercial insurance sales? Are you confident handling both new business and renewals while keeping customer service at the heart of what you do?

The Role
We’re looking for a Fleet Sales Account Manager to join our team in either Liverpool or Manchester. You’ll work with fleet and multi-vehicle customers, supporting their insurance needs from first quote through to renewal. This is a varied role that blends sales and account management—perfect for someone who enjoys building long-term client relationships while also growing their portfolio.

Please note, only applicants with previous insurance experience will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Secure fleet and multi vehicle sales by working warm leads, prospecting and networking, providing quotations over the phone or in person when required.
• Manage a book of renewals and maintain high retention rates.
• Stay informed about industry trends and changes in regulations.
• Build lasting relationships with customers and insurers.
• Accurately record data and follow internal procedures.
• Cross-sell relevant commercial insurance services.
• Work closely with other teams to support smooth onboarding and account servicing.
• Deliver excellent customer service.
• Meet personal and team sales targets.

The Person

• 2+ years in commercial insurance, preferably within fleet, automotive, or commercial vehicle sectors, with a proven track record converting warm leads via both outbound and inbound calls.
• Demonstrated success in both new-business acquisition and account management/renewals
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with a passion for sales, whilst providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to travel to both the Liverpool and Manchester offices, or to visit customers in person if required.
• Comfortable navigating CRM systems and insurer portals.
• Sharp analytical skills—able to interpret risk data and underwriting appetite.
