This is an exciting opportunity to join a fantastic housing association that offers flexible working, security, and safety within the role. The head office is based in Basingstoke; however, this role requires travel around the South of the UK, with opportunities to work from home.
We are looking for a candidate to deliver optimal outcomes for our customers and colleagues, leading on the safety and performance of over 750 commercial vehicle drivers. The role involves changing our culture and embedding a strong vehicle management process within the locality teams.
Based from any of our offices across the South, you will combine office and home working to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Travel across regions is required, so a driving licence and access to a vehicle are necessary.
In partnership with the HSE and L&D teams, you will lead the development, management, and delivery of risk assessments, training programs, and safety awareness initiatives for our fleet users. You will support locality managers in understanding their team’s driving performance and behaviors. Knowledge of HGVs would be advantageous.
