Job summary

EMS Healthcare in the United Kingdom seeks a time-served joiner to support re-fits and refurbishments of truck and trailer interiors and exteriors. You will work with other trades, read technical drawings, and perform first and second fix joinery.

The role requires driving, UK-wide travel, and a commitment to quality, safety, and on-time delivery. Benefits include holidays and cycle to work schemes.

Qualifications

Time served joiner.
Understand site safety.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Read and interpret technical drawings.
Proven ability to problem solve.
Trained in the use of power tools.
Trained in the use of cutting room joinery machinery.

Responsibilities

Carrying out general first fix joinery and second fix joinery.
Insulating and building the internal wall construction on new builds.
Ordering materials for builds from technical drawings.
Painting and maintaining the chassis, wheels, and associated kit for deployments.
Painting doors, doorframes, woodwork.
Installation of suspended ceilings.
Installation of Dibond walkways and external walkways.
