Job Title: Project Support Coordinator
Location: Faslane, Helensburgh + Hybrid Working
Compensation: Up to £36,000 + Benefits

The role
As a Project Support Coordinator you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Your role will include providing a Project Co-Ordination support function to deliver Submarine projects to meet safety, time, quality, performance and cost targets.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Provide Project Manager and Project Team with proactive deconfliction on their facilities, ensuring that there is minimum disruption to the vessels supporting taskings for Crane Operations, Augean Uplifts, NDE activities, anomalous Transport and Shearwater Diving activities on those Jetty’s.
  • Provide reactive deconfliction for these supporting taskings as and when required, due to the Operating Constraints of these facilities.
  • Assist the Fleet Programmes Project Manager in maximising the utilisation and the efficiency of all the Project Management resource
  • Ensure that all tasks are carried out in accordance with the Company’s cost, time and quality requirements.
  • To ensure that deconfliction plans are developed, records are maintained communicated as work packages evolve.
  • Attend and participate in meetings as required.


This role is full time, 36 hours, 4 days per week, Monday to Thursday, 3 days in the office, 1 day working from home.

Essential experience of the Project Support Coordinator:

  • Technical or Engineering background would be beneficial
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Good Attention to details


Qualifications for the Project Support Coordinator:

  • 5 National Grade Qualifications; English, Maths and another Technical Subject at Nat5 level and 2 further Nat4 or Nat5 qualifications
