An opportunity has become available for an experienced Fleet & Plant Supervisor to become part of C~urb’s Planned Maintenance department. You will oversee all aspects of operational management for C~urb’s Fleet & Plant supporting business continuity and maintaining asset compliance, ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient maintenance of a diverse fleet and plant that is essential for delivering frontline services.
Curb is a partner company of Link Group and provides high quality, customer-focused repairs and maintenance services to Link tenants and other customers in Scotland’s Central Belt. In addition, we also deliver a range of planned and cyclical maintenance activities.
As part of a rapidly growing business area, the Fleet & Plant Supervisor will develop and implement strategies that provide a cost-effective and fully compliant operating model, focusing on fleet compliance, vehicle and plant maintenance, and effective plant utilisation. You will provide both technical and managerial expertise across all operation Fleet & Plant Services.
This role will assist the Planned Maintenance Delivery Manager and work closely with colleagues and partners to advance and realise our goals, business objectives, and environmental ambitions.
About You
You will have proven experience in fleet management, logistics or transport, and an HND/Bachelor’s degree in logistics, transportation management, business administration or related relevant field, or relevant industry experience. You will have previous experience and in plant and equipment safety management and competent industry knowledge.
This role requires a commitment to excellent customer service, knowledge and awareness of health and safety requirements, experience in leadership and line management and working with stakeholders.
As a Fleet & Plant Supervisor, you will have the skills to deliver services against a range of key performance indicators, and the planning and management of work packages and programmes.
