We’re hiring a Fleet Operations Tooling Manager to own the product vision, roadmap, and delivery of the tools that power our global test operations. This is a critical role at the intersection of product, engineering, and operations — responsible for building intuitive, scalable systems that enable our frontline teams to execute safely, efficiently, and at scale.
You’ll act as the voice of the internal Ops user, consolidating feedback from Vehicle Safety Operators, Shift Leads, and Ops leaders, and translating it into a cohesive, prioritised roadmap. You’ll also lead buy-vs-build assessments, define product success metrics, and ensure smooth release of tooling updates in partnership with QA, L&D, and engineering.
This role is ideal for a hands-on product leader with experience supporting Ops-first organisations — someone who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and knows how to deliver simple tools to complex problems.
You know how to take complex operational challenges and turn them into clear, user-friendly tools. You’ve built internal products that help frontline teams move faster, make better decisions, and stay focused under pressure.
You’re experienced in juggling competing feature requests, aligning cross-functional stakeholders, and delivering with urgency — without losing sight of the bigger picture. You want to stay close to the end user and you're driven by building tools that make a tangible impact in the real world.
You think strategically but move fast, navigating ambiguity and constraints with confidence. You thrive in iterative environments where progress beats perfection. You're experienced in managing the full product launch lifecycle - from planning and rollout to driving adoption. You know how to partner with QA and L&D to ensure smooth releases, clear communication, and tools that land well with internal users.
We understand that everyone has a unique set of skills and experiences and that not everyone will meet all of the requirements listed above. If you’re passionate about self-driving cars and think you have what it takes to make a positive impact on the world, we encourage you to apply.
