We Manage Jobs is seeking a Fleet Operations Manager to lead workshop operations at County Fleetcare in Stafford. This permanent, full-time role emphasizes safety, compliance, and operational excellence, offering a chance to influence fleet services across diverse public sector clients.
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Fleet Operations Manager to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a key leadership role where you’ll help ensure the smooth running of our workshop operations and play a central part in maintaining the safety, compliance, and efficiency of our fleet services.
County Fleetcare is a vital trading service within the Council, responsible for the procurement and maintenance of the Council’s fleet. Supporting a wide range of services—from Highways and Libraries to Countryside Management—County Fleetcare also serves external public sector clients, including schools, academies, and other local authorities. Operating from a dedicated premises in Stafford, the service plays a key role in keeping essential services moving across the county.
We’re looking for you to be a confident and capable leader with a strong background in fleet maintenance operations and a commitment to safety and service excellence. You will also have:

Interviews will be held week commencing 28 July 2025. This is a permanent, full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday, with consideration for flexible working. The role is based at County Fleetcare in Stafford.
