Fleet Operations Manager – Drainage & Utilities Industry
Location: Belvedere, Kent
Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum (DOE)
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00

Vector are currently recruiting for a Fleet Operations Manager to join our clients growing Tankering Division. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of a fleet of drainage tankers. If you have a strong background in transport and fleet management, particularly within the drainage or utilities sector, this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fleet Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the Tankering Division, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and timely service delivery.
  • Fleet Management: Ensure full adherence to all transport and fleet regulations, managing vehicle maintenance and roadworthiness.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and support the tankering team, overseeing training requirements and staff development.
  • Yard Operations: Maintain operational standards, organise equipment storage, and manage general yard activities.
  • Procurement & Resource Management: Oversee the acquisition of essential materials and equipment to support day-to-day operations.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Previous fleet management / transport management experience, ideally within the drainage or utilities industry.
  • Knowledge of Operators Licence regulations.
  • Fleet / Transport Manager CPC (desirable)
  • Strong IT and organisational skills.
