Job description

Activus Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Fleet Mechanic to join a reputable quarry company based in Aberdeen. This role is responsible for the safe and efficient maintenance, servicing, and repairing HGVs, LGVs, trailers, and powder tankers both in workshops and on-site.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Diagnose and repair faults on a range of fleet vehicles
  2. Perform routine servicing and maintenance
  3. Ensure safe use of tools, equipment, and PPE
  4. Carry out daily checks on lifting and plant equipment
  5. Follow all site safety procedures and protocols
  6. Keep work areas clean and waste disposed of correctly
  7. Complete all job sheets and reports accurately and on time
  8. Represent the company in a professional manner
  9. Support and mentor team members when required
Requirements:
  1. Experience with HGV/LGV repairs and diagnostics
  2. Understanding of vehicle maintenance standards
  3. Strong commitment to health & safety
  4. Full UK driving licence
