Join Our Team as a Station Fleet Manager – Lead, Manage, and Optimize Fleet Operations!

Are you an experienced leader with a passion for managing fleet operations? We are looking for a highly skilled Station Fleet Manager to oversee both the strategic and day-to-day management of our fleet, ensuring efficient operations, timely maintenance, and excellent service delivery for our customers. As the Station Fleet Manager, you will be responsible for long-term planning and daily oversight of fleet operations, including the garage and outsourced teams. Your goal is to ensure cost-effective operations while maintaining the highest standards of service and achieving station business development targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Human Management:
    1. Lead and develop fleet staff, including hikers and maintenance agents, to meet performance goals aligned with station targets and company values.
    2. Train staff to deliver excellent customer service while ensuring adherence to company procedures and service level agreements.
    3. Conduct and log safety meetings with fleet staff to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  2. Daily Fleet Operations:
    1. Oversee the timely repair and servicing of vehicles according to company and manufacturer guidelines.
    2. Review reservations, returns, and fleet status daily to maintain operational efficiency.
    3. Manage the damage assessment process, ensuring proper documentation and approvals are in place.
    4. Continuously seek process improvements to optimize vehicle servicing, in-fleet preparation, and disposal.
    5. Provide monthly reports on mechanic productivity, attendance, and inventory usage for consumables, tires, and parts.
  3. Internal and External Relations:
    1. Communicate and coordinate with external personnel, including Return, Service, and Ready Line agents, to maintain smooth operational flow.
    2. Maintain strong relationships with local OEM dealerships, service providers, and external vendors.
    3. Collaborate with the General Manager, Operations Managers, and other team members to provide updates on fleet status and operational insights.
    4. Manage collision repairs by liaising with vendors, monitoring repair timelines, and ensuring timely updates from repair shops.
