Job description

Job Title: Fleet Manager – Bristol Airport

Location: Bristol Airport

Salary: £27k – £30k basic with a £35k OTE

In the role you will work with Fleet Distribution and the Regional Fleet Manager (RFM) to ensure there is sufficient fleet to deliver great customer service.

You will proactively plan fleet levels to effectively handle day to day business as well as peak requirements at the airport.

You must ensure fleet availability to maximise commercial opportunities and effectively manage and motivate the Fleet Team at Bristol Airport.

In the role you will ensure that the available fleet is optimised through appropriate pricing with RCM.

Responsibilities:

• Manage station stop sells and reservation control in accordance with fleet availability in partnership with RCM and RFM.
• Control of the fleet assets to ensure security and effective utilisation.
• Development of fleet action plan, to be incorporated into the station action plan, to continuously improve the operation.
• Ensure reporting is available to effectively manage the airport fleet.
• Ensure end of day reporting is completed and checks are correctly actioned.
• Overall responsibility to ensure the overdue list is correctly actioned and responsible for agreeing the unmarking of any sale cars.
• Review mileage of fleet to ensure penalties are not incurred.
• Ensure damage is identified and correctly recorded throughout the station and any damage excess is deducted from our customers.
• Control vehicles on the sale list to ensure these are removed within targeted timescales.
• Responsibility for fleet servicing and for monitoring workshop vehicles.
• Ensure administration tasks are completed within the station including fuel.
