Location: Exeter
Salary: Scale C - Starts at £24,222 rising by yearly increments to a maximum of £25,626 per annum. Please note that the above salary is based on working 37 hours per week. If this role is part-time or you are appointed on a part-time basis your salary will be prorated to reflect this. Exceptions to starting salary may apply if you are an existing Devon & Cornwall or Dorset Police Staff employee substantively posted to a role at the same Scale.

Type of working arrangement: Static-Worker - A Static-Worker has little or no opportunity to work remotely as they need to carry out their work at a specific force premises, this could be for a number of reasons including the location of equipment.
Hours per week: this role is 37 hours per week. However, we welcome applications from individuals wishing to work on a part-time basis and we are willing to consider flexible working patterns subject to business need.
Allowances: This role attracts no allowances.
To perform a series of tasks and minor fleet projects to aide Fleet Services in their business as usual activities. This post oversees the day to day provision of force cycles, ensuring that the department delivers safe and effective cycle fleet for Dorset Police.
To oversee, maintain and repair force cycles to the force standards. Delivering an efficient and effective service ensuring that cycles are safe, reliable and compliant at all times.
Completion of maintenance documents, including job cards, ordering and stock management of cycle parts. Ensuring all parts required are accurately accounted for and invoices reviewed and processed.
General repair and maintenance of telematics equipment within force vehicles. Working to quickly identify and remedy faults found with the systems.
To assist with ad hoc minor fleet projects in a timely manner (non-budgetary). Resilience to Parts & Stores and Fleet Admin Office where required.
