Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is seeking a Transport & Logistics Manager to lead fleet, transport and delivery operations. This role offers ownership of logistics performance, fleet compliance and operational efficiency within a fast-paced environment.

You will manage day-to-day transport and fleet operations, oversee maintenance, plan routes, and ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards while collaborating with internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Transport, Logistics or Fleet Management.
• Strong knowledge of transport legislation and fleet compliance.
• Experience managing vehicle operations, routing and delivery planning.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Hands-on operational role with multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day transport and fleet operations to ensure a safe, efficient and reliable delivery service.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance, servicing, MOTs, compliance and fleet administration.
• Coordinate route planning, delivery scheduling and driver resources.
• Ensure compliance with transport regulations, tachograph requirements and health & safety standards.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, transport partners and internal teams.
• Monitor operational performance, resolve issues proactively and drive continuous improvement.
• Produce reports and insights to support business performance and decision-making.
