Job summary

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service is seeking an Operational Equipment Support Manager to join the Fleet & Equipment Team in Reading. This pivotal role ensures our operational equipment is safe, compliant, available and fit for frontline emergency response.

You will lead the Equipment Team, oversee maintenance and availability of specialist equipment, manage procurement and budgets, and collaborate with internal teams, suppliers and partner organisations to deliver a high-quality service.

• Experience of managing equipment or asset-based services.
• Ability to lead a team and build partnerships.
• Experience delivering continuous improvement in a complex, operational environment.
