Job overview

An opportunity has arisen for a Station Domestic/Cleaner at Skegness Ambulance station to work hours per week. The successful applicant will be responsible for cleaning the stations to set Infection Prevention Control Guidelines. They must hold a full clean UK driving licence and may be required to travel to other stations.

With a flexible approach to hours and duties, you must be reliable and able to work independently. Relevant previous experience is advantageous.

Main duties of the job

  • Carry out domestic/station cleaning duties within the Ambulance Station/HQ ensuring appropriate cleanliness, hygiene, and safety.
  • Maintain the safety of the working environment.
  • Follow policies, procedures, and practices of the Trust, which may be amended.

Patient safety is a key priority. Ensure compliance with EMAS policies on Risk Management, Infection Prevention and Control, Safeguarding children and vulnerable adults.

  1. Station Cleaning: Follow cleaning schedule, ensure equipment is used and maintained properly.
  2. General: Undertake training, adhere to health and safety, fire precautions, and operational orders. Perform other duties as required.
