Job description

We’re Arval BNP Paribas – we’re a global leader in vehicle leasing and the fourth largest leasing company in the UK. Our passion for Service, Sustainability, and Solutions is brought to life by each and every one of our people – who we call Journey Makers.

Culturally, we’re a friendly bunch – more human than corporate – and we serve a diverse customer base. From families choosing their first electric vehicle, to global brands seeking to switch their fleets to electric vehicles – whatever our customers’ mobility needs, we have a solution to offer.

In addition to the benefits and opportunities that come with being part of a progressive global banking group, we have a supportive and collaborative culture where wellbeing and work-life balance are taken seriously. Which is why we recently won the Wellbeing category of the 2024 Business Car Awards.

About the role

Within this role you will need to interpret manufacturer and dealer agreements (terms and discounts) and then load these into our system. This information is then used by a range of business areas (such as Account Managers) when quoting our customers. It’s vitally important that the information inputted is accurate so that our quotes are also accurate so that we maintain margins and don’t lose money.

You’ll be a point of contact for the rest of the business for queries that may arise around the discounts and pricing area. You’ll take an active role in process improvement, training and developing within the role and the team to ensure a constant incline in efficiency.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Loading new data onto the system
  • Coordinating daily workload with team
  • Point of contact for stakeholders across the business involving discounts and pricing
  • Being on top of processes involving pivot tables and v-lookups

What we’re looking for

We are looking for someone who has a reputation for ensuring first class accuracy in their work. Your attention to detail will be second to none whilst working to strict deadlines and under pressure. To help in this role you will need strong organisation skills and you will be able to prioritise your workload.

An understanding of the quotation process, and some experience of dealer and manufacturer agreements would be the icing on the cake. Lastly, you will be proficient across Microsoft tools, in particular Excel.

You’ll also be able to demonstrate:

  • Attention to detail when working to tight deadlines and managing varying workloads
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team, including the ability to build effective working relationships within numerous internal departments
  • Be a confident communicator and happy to question processes to determine if they can be improved

The package

We offer a basic starting salary of up to £25,000, plus a bonus of up to £1,100. We also offer 25 days holiday as standard, plus bank holidays, an extra day off for your birthday, and the option to purchase an additional 5 days.

We also provide a comprehensive benefits package, including:

  • Private medical cover, including a digital GP service
  • Company pension with up to 10% employer contribution
  • Discounts on our products and services and discounts in many high street brands
  • 2 paid volunteering days every year
  • Free on-site gym
  • Subsidised restaurant serving chef-prepared breakfast and lunch, plus discounted Costa Coffee
  • Plus, a range of flexible benefits to suit your lifestyle
