We provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation.

This role will be within our Metering team, you’ll join the leading provider of metering services and data collection in the UK energy retail sector, we provide efficient and flexible services for gas, electricity and water meters.

Our meter engineers install, maintain and manage meters to make sure customers are billed correctly and energy usage patterns are monitored. We leverage our industry expertise and data insight capabilities to create solutions that fit the needs of our customers.


Reporting to the Logistics & Fleet Manager as a Fleet Coordinator you will be responsible for on and off boarding activity of our fleet whilst managing relationships, particularly with our plant and fleet team, recruitment and our logistics provider in relation to new starters.
This role is a fantastic opportunity, ideally for someone with a logistic or planning background, to really make a difference within the business. We are looking for a forward thinking, inquisitive individual who is always looking to continuously improve processes and identify cost savings within the organisation.
This role is a hybrid working doing 3 days in the Newcastle office and 2 days from home. The successful candidate will have the option of working either 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm each day.

What will you be doing?

- Monitor overall fleet performance and identify any areas of under performance
- Manage operational performance in relation to new starter requirements
- Ensure information is logged correctly per driver and updated on tracker systems
- Liaise with the recruitment team to understand and react to requirements
- Manage business leavers effectively and smoothly to support with vehicle collection, PPE and tools etc
- Recording of the condition of vehicles on issue and collection
- Point of contact for any repair approvals, short term hire needs, replacement vehicles
- Review of driver performance and effectively logging data such as penalty notices, damage, driving style etc
- Manage parking accounts and similar to ensure vehicles are added/removed timely
- Review monthly costs and provide reporting to the wider business

What you’ll bring

- Previous experience in a logistic or planning role is essential
- Efficient with MS Excel to an advanced level
- Highly organised and able to prioritise
- Positive attitude to all tasks being motivated and proactive
- The ability to look for continual improvements and have the confidence to suggest new ways of working
- Good judgement and able to make good decisions in limited timescales
