Job Description:

We're excited to offer a Fleet Controller position with a leading UK company specializing in rail wagon maintenance and repair. Known for their commitment to quality and responsiveness, they serve fleet owners nationwide through strategically located outstations, ensuring efficient operations and confidentiality.

Working Pattern:

Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 16:00

Friday: 08:00 - 15:30

Total: 37 hours/week.

Responsibilities:
  • Keep customers informed about stoppage progress and issues.
  • Assist Field Service staff with wagon movements and sourcing spare parts.
  • Ensure timely release of wagons from repair.
  • Produce and monitor maintenance plans for fleets.
  • Update fleet maintenance records accurately and promptly.
  • Review vehicle mileage for customers.
  • Provide coverage as a "B" controller during holidays.
  • Review maintenance records to ensure vehicles are cleared post-repair.
  • Obtain order numbers for non-contract work and submit final costs.
  • Monitor wheelset bearing dates for compliance.
  • Develop and oversee Balanced Maintenance plans.
  • Manage damage events for customers.
  • Maintain accurate wheelset details and compile reports.
  • Assist with general office duties to ensure smooth operations.
