Job summary

NuStaff Recruitment is seeking an experienced Auto Technician for a Gloucestershire-based role. You will prepare, maintain and service force vehicles, ensuring safety, cost-effectiveness and policy compliance.

This hands-on workshop position sits in a close-knit team led by a Workshop Supervisor, keeping the fleet on the road. The role requires at least 3 years of light vehicle diagnosis and repair, NVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Craft Studies, and experience across fleet servicing, diagnostics,

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' light vehicle diagnosis and repair experience.
• NVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Craft Studies or equivalent.
• Experience across fleet servicing and repairs, diagnostics and engine repair.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service and repair vehicles and equipment to MOT and manufacturer standards.
• Carry out MOT inspections and complete the associated documentation.
• Diagnose faults on engine management systems using diagnostic equipment.
• Carry out electrical modifications and repairs including fitting light bars and radios.
• Road test vehicles on agreed routes and keep workshop safe and clean.
