ABOUT THE ROLE

Job Purpose

We are looking for a fleet auditor reporting directly to the Operations Manager. Our fleet audit team is a vital link between our Bridgestone Partner service providers and our fleet customers. This role will be located within the M25.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and complete a monthly management report in detail for Bridgestone & Veolia senior management.
  • Audit every Veolia workshop location on a regularly defined rota.
  • Identify areas of inefficiency or waste affecting tyre costs within the contract.
  • Value specific areas of waste and propose actions to address key areas.
  • Demonstrate findings to local Veolia workshop management and agree on a training plan.
  • Check all removed casings at Veolia or Bridgestone Partner dealer locations.
  • Arrange for re-fits or invoices for premature tyre changes.
  • Identify casings suitable for repair or regrooving.
  • Carry out casing inspections at collectors or Bandag franchisees.
  • Ensure all movements are logged and reported to Veolia senior management.
  • Train and advise Veolia workshop managers on tyre management.
  • Identify training requirements for Bridgestone Partner dealers.
  • Report and mitigate any risks to the business.
  • Occasional weekend working may be required.

Qualifications & Experience Required

Education, Master, other certification:
  • A full driving license is essential – you will be provided with a company van.
Technical Skills:
  • Methodical and thorough approach to work, with an emphasis on attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and challenge existing procedures.
  • Experience in Microsoft products.
Soft/Behavioral Skills:
  • High commitment to customer service levels.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and on own initiative.
  • Ability to meet targets and maintain quality standards.
