Job description

The role in a nutshell: To pro-actively monitor and manage all vehicles off road (VOR) as well as having close regular dialogue with garages so that each vehicle is repaired and reunited with its driver as quickly as possible.

About the ‘Department': Operations oversee the in-life care of our customers' vehicles ensuring they are serviced and maintained, that all administration is carried out, and that they are correctly disposed of at end of contract.

What you'll be doing:

  • Gaining experience in Downtime Management as a Fleet Associate, you'll become familiar with all the processes of the Downtime Management function
  • You will show an excellent and self-sufficient work ethic, working with the TL to ensure you are aware of priorities and being self-motivated to find the next piece of work
  • You will use your experience, knowledge of our procedures and customers, and initiative to make decisions that benefit our customers and help us to achieve first-time resolution
  • You'll show ownership of individual issues, managing them through to resolution
  • Taking calls, calling repairers & updating existing VOR's
  • All Downtime tasks with a focus on keeping our customers up to date with their repair processes

How you could stretch this role:

  • Supporting the Team Leader with a view to future progression
  • Working with the TPS team to produce Kaizens and Jishukens to improve our processes
  • Learn how to write new processes and procedures
  • Taking a leading role in new initiatives within the team
  • Support with urgent reports required to support OAM/SAM with Team leader guidance
  • To be able to train others through your experience and understanding
  • TPS involvement with improvement in mind to reduce specific client Downtime
