Job description

Job Title: Fleet Administrator

Fleet Administrator

Salary: £27,000 - £31,000 per annum
Location: Leeds, LS27/LS12

Job Description

You will be responsible for the governance of all fleet vehicles, working with maintenance providers and internal staff to ensure vehicles are ready for use and disposed of in line with BVRLA standards. You'll collaborate with rental branches, reservations teams, and vendors to maintain a vehicle off-road (VOR) rate below 5% of the total fleet. You'll also support the re-marketing department to maximise vehicle resale value and provide high-level support across all business divisions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure all recharge invoices are correctly and promptly billed in line with SLAs.
  2. Arrange delivery of new stock vehicles, liaising regularly with dealerships.
  3. Add new vehicles to the rental system with accurate and complete details.
  4. Organise tracker installations and manage the tracker vendor.
  5. Liaise with insurance companies, storage/recovery firms, and police as needed.
  6. Submit First Notification of Loss claims to insurers and customer accounts.
  7. Manage servicing and MOTs for the rental fleet.
  8. Renew vehicle tax applications.
Person Specification

Essential Skills:

  • Ability to challenge vendors and suppliers to ensure fast, cost-effective resolutions.
  • Positive attitude and strong communication skills.
  • Strong administrative skills, including handling large invoice totals.
  • Excellent attention to detail.

Experience:
