This is a fantastic time to join the Royal Mail Fleet team as we progress on our journey towards net zero, targeting an all-electric delivery fleet by 2035. This is a huge undertaking with over 50,000 vehicles and trailer assets, from buying and selling vehicles, providing maintenance and accident repairs, to managing fuel and supplier contracts there are exciting roles for anyone wishing to pursue a career involving vehicle asset management.

About the Role

As a Fleet Administrator, you’ll report to the In Life Control Manager and be responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks that support the day-to-day operations of Royal Mail Fleet. From managing vehicle documentation to processing invoices and supporting customer queries, you’ll help ensure our fleet runs efficiently and compliantly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver administrative services in line with agreed service levels.
• Input, verify, and reconcile data using systems such as Excel, Word, and M5.
• Maintain accurate records and manage both electronic and hard copy filing.
• Extract and analyse data to support query resolution.
• Provide general administrative support, including call handling and customer service.
• Process and resolve invoice queries and liaise with suppliers to meet delivery schedules.

About You

You’re a confident communicator with strong IT and organisational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency. You’re also a team player who’s adaptable to change and committed to continuous improvement.

What You’ll Bring:
