Job summary

The Dalesman Group in Bradford is seeking a New Product Development Technologist. You will work across the full product development cycle, translating briefs into innovative, high-quality seasonings and ingredients, with collaboration across Commercial, Operations and customers.

Responsibilities include concept development, formulation, testing, and ensuring quality, safety and regulatory compliance. The role blends creativity with technical execution in a food production setting.

Qualifications

• Degree level qualification (or equivalent) and/or relevant experience in a technical discipline preferably in food technology or development.
• Full, clean driving licence preferred.
• Experience in Food NPD.

Responsibilities

• Complete administrative tasks and maintain company databases.
• Follow BRC requirements and quality procedures.
• Collaborate with all departments to support the NPD function.
• Manage NPD projects from research to launch.
• Develop recipe blends and formulations within UK/EU regulations.
• Prepare and provide technical support to Production, Sales and customers.
• Maintain NPD documentation and KPI records.
