FLATBED DIE CUTTER OPERATOR - DAYS / FIXED EARLY SHIFT

GREATER MANCHESTER

Salary Guide: 32/33K + 22 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Company Workwear Provided

HOURS: 37.5hrs - Monday to Friday - Ideally 7am till 2.30pm with 30 mins Break - this is Flexible

Our client is a BRC accredited cartons and sleeves packaging manufacturer based in the North West. They are one of the largest companies of its kind in the UK and have an international customer base, serving a broad range of customer sectors.

They are currently looking for a Flat Bed Die Cutting Operator to work within their Finishing Department. The client is looking for a candidate that has experience running a Sanwa or similar machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

Ability to set up and run Flatbed Die Cutter - Sanwa or similar
Experience of die cutting printed sheets including intricate make readies
Stripping of die cut sheets
Liaise with other departments such as pre-press (for forms) and/or glue line
Ensuring all appropriate Health & Safety requirements are adhered to at all times
Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment

Requirements:

The ability to work in different areas within Finishing (i.e. Cylinders/Guillotining) would be an advantage although training can be provided
Current Fork Lift Truck Licence would be preferable
