Driver Hire Croydon & Sutton is seeking a 3.5T (Cat B) flat bed van driver with a tail lift for a Mitcham-based role. This temp-to-perm position offers a PAYE rate of £14.75 (holiday pay) with overtime at £17.50 and a separate perm salary of £30K.

You will deliver hire tools around central London, must have a UK Category B licence, tidy knowledge of the area, and experience using ratchet straps. Shifts are Monday to Friday, 07:30 start, 8 hours per day with weekly pay on Fridays.

Formación

• UK Category B licence required for driving a 3.5T flat bed van.
• No more than 6 points for minor offences; insurance restrictions may apply.
• Experience with ratchet straps and safe loading practices.

We are seeking 3.5T (Cat B) flat bed vehicle with tail lift driver, for one of our customers based in Mitcham. Delivering hire tools, from a small drill to temporary fencing, in and around central London, good knowledge of the area required. You must have previously used ratchet straps.

As a van driver you must have:

• UK Category B licence
• No more than 6 points for minor offences
• There may be some restrictions for insurance purposes (please phone for details).

The successful driver can expect:

• Monday - Friday shifts minimum 8 hours
• 07:30 start
• Weekly pay every Friday

This position would also be suitable for van drivers and delivery drivers with a good understanding of the use of ratchet straps, and the importance of safe loading. This is commutable from Sutton, Coulsdon, Purley, Mitcham, Thornton Heath and Wallington
